Anthony Finds Out Dalen Tried to Kiss Amber — And Everything Explodes
😡 Anthony Finds Out Dalen Tried to Kiss Amber — And Everything Explodes
Chapter One: A Strange Vibe
It started at a simple backyard BBQ.
Amber had invited a few friends and coworkers over to celebrate her new promotion. The music was smooth, the air warm with laughter, and the smell of grilled food hung heavy in the air.
Among the guests was Dalen—a smooth-talking, sharply dressed guy from Amber’s office who had always lingered too long in conversations and complimented her just a bit too often. Anthony had seen him once or twice before. Never liked the dude. Something about Dalen’s smile said “I’m waiting for you to slip up.”
Anthony kept an eye on him. But he didn’t want to be the jealous boyfriend tonight.
He trusted Amber.
Or at least, he wanted to.
Chapter Two: “Where’d They Go?”
Later that night, after the crowd had thinned and the party started winding down, Anthony noticed something odd.
Amber was gone.
So was Dalen.
He walked around the house, calling her name lightly, then found her—out front near her car—with Dalen standing way too close. She looked tense, caught off-guard. Dalen stepped back the moment he saw Anthony.
“Everything good?” Anthony asked, his voice tight.
Amber nodded a little too quickly. “Yeah. Dalen was just leaving.”
“Yeah, I was just saying goodnight,” Dalen said, giving Amber a wink that didn’t sit right with Anthony at all.
That night, Amber said she was tired and went to bed early. Anthony laid there, eyes wide open, playing the image over and over in his head.
He knew something was off.
Chapter Three: The Truth Comes Out
Two days passed. Then came the phone call.
Anthony was at Wayne’s Barbershop when his phone buzzed. It was an unknown number. Against his better judgment, he picked up.
“Is this Anthony?” a voice asked.
“Yeah. Who’s this?”
“I work with Amber. You don’t know me. But you need to know something.”
Anthony stepped outside, his heartbeat rising. “Go on.”
“I saw what Dalen tried to do the other night. He waited until she was alone. He tried to kiss her, and when she pushed him away, he got aggressive. She told him to leave, and he backed off. She didn’t cheat on you, man. She fought him off. But she hasn’t said anything because she didn’t want to cause more drama between y’all.”
Anthony’s face turned to stone.
Dalen.
He tried to kiss Amber?
And she didn’t tell him?
Chapter Four: Anthony Confronts Amber
That night, Anthony came home with his energy different. He didn’t slam the door or raise his voice. He just stood in the hallway, arms crossed, eyes burning.
“Amber,” he said calmly. “What happened with Dalen?”
Amber’s eyes widened. “What… What are you talking about?”
“Don’t play me,” he said, voice sharper now. “I know. Someone at your job told me everything. The front yard. The kiss. You pushing him off. Why didn’t you tell me?”
Amber took a deep breath. “Because I knew how you’d react. You’d go after him. And I didn’t want more chaos.”
“I had a right to know!” he yelled. “He put his hands on you, Amber!”
“I handled it!” she snapped back. “You think I didn’t feel violated? Scared? Angry? I pushed him off and told HR. He’s already under investigation. But I didn’t want to turn this into another war.”
Anthony’s chest rose and fell with fury. “Nah. I’m not letting that slide.”
Chapter Five: Anthony Finds Dalen
Anthony didn’t wait.
He found out Dalen’s gym location from a friend and pulled up the next day. It wasn’t even about fighting—it was about looking him in the eye and making sure he knew:
“You don’t mess with what’s mine.”
He waited in the parking lot until Dalen came out.
When their eyes locked, Dalen’s fake confidence disappeared.
Anthony stepped forward. “You really thought she wouldn’t tell me?”
Dalen raised his hands. “Yo, it wasn’t like that—”
“You tried to force yourself on her,” Anthony growled. “You disrespected her, and you disrespected me.”
“I misread the situation—”
Anthony shoved him back. “You think a woman pulling away from you is a misread? You’re lucky I don’t break your jaw right here.”
Dalen looked around nervously. “I already got HR on my back, man. I’m not trying to fight you too.”
Anthony leaned in close. “Next time you even look in her direction, we’re not talking. You hear me?”
Dalen nodded quickly, stepping away.
Chapter Six: Amber & Anthony Rebuild
That night, Anthony came home, hands cut from punching the steering wheel in rage.
Amber was sitting on the couch, waiting.
“I know you saw him,” she said.
“I had to.”
She sighed. “I didn’t want to protect him. I wanted to protect us. I didn’t want this to turn into another mess.”
Anthony sat beside her. “I’m sorry. I should’ve made you feel safe enough to tell me anything. But I can’t lie—I saw red.”
Amber reached for his hand. “You have to trust that I can handle myself too. I didn’t let him disrespect me. And I won’t let anyone tear us apart—not again.”
Anthony looked her in the eyes. “You didn’t cheat. You didn’t lie. You did everything right. I got your back. Always.”
They sat in silence for a moment, holding hands, breathing through the storm together.
Epilogue: Lessons Learned
Dalen was eventually fired after multiple complaints surfaced.
Amber continued to thrive at her job, respected even more for standing up for herself.
Anthony started therapy to manage his anger—not because he was weak, but because he wanted to grow.
And their relationship?
Stronger.
Because when the storm came...
They faced it together.
